If the reset failed to correct the issue, perform a file recovery on your GoGear. Initiate a file recovery by first connecting your GoGear to your computer. ![]() From your computer's "Start" menu, choose "Programs," "Philips Digital Audio Player," "Area Device Manager" and "Philips Device Manager." The Philips Device Manager software will be activated. Inspect your GoGear to confirm that it is turned off. Plug the small end of the supplied USB cord into the bottom of your GoGear while holding down the "Volume Up."
